Q. Do I need to be a swinger to come to Hungry Cat Events?
A. You don’t necessarily have to be a practicing swinger or kinkster currently but you do need to have a recent “Meet Verification” on your profile on either Swingable.me or Fabswingers or Fetlife. This helps us ensure that people who attend our events are genuine and have good intentions.
Q. What happens at a Hungry Cat Event?
A. Our events are no different than a night out with lots of people in a club or bar. The only difference is that everyone in attendance is there because they share a common interest, be that Swinging, Kink or alternative lifestyles and are there to meet like-minded people. On arrival, everyone is warmly greeted by a member of our team. Each person receives a welcome bag with a few little surprises before being directed to the main event space. If you are new, we will do our very best to introduce you to other newbies or regular guests who are all very friendly and welcoming. Through the night there will be a selection of entertainment ranging from stage acts to table acts, and from dangerous & intriguing to sensual & alluring. After the entertainment part of the evening has finished, you will have a chance to dance your legs off, mingle, flirt and get to know those around you a little better.
Q. What if someone recognises me?
A. We get this question all the time, and it does happen from time to time. Although it’s really not as big a deal as everyone makes out. Firstly, you are doing absolutely nothing wrong. You are after all, attending a social night out with like minded people. Secondly, the person who might have recognised you is there for exactly the same reasons. It’s best to make light heartedness of the situation and make it a talking point between you. You now each know that you share a common interest.
Q. Is there a way to get to know people before an event takes place?
A. Yes, we usually open a Telegram Group chat two weeks before any Hungry Cat event for ticket holders who wish to join and break the ice online first.
Q. What do people wear to Hungry Cat Events?
A. A lot of our events are themed and its always fun to try to stick to that theme although this is not mandatory. At the very least, smart casual will be absolutely fine. No football tops or jogging bottoms allowed. Make the effort! Our events are “Sex Positive” safe spaces and most permit “Dressing Down” when guests feel comfortable to do so. However, we do maintain that no guest should be exposing genitals at any time. Keep it Classy!!………… And leave something for the imagination.
Q. Are there any playrooms at Hungry Cat events?
A. Our events are social only. There are NO Playrooms, nor is any play permitted. Leave the good stuff for before or after 🙂
Q. I’m a single woman. Am I safe attending an event on my own?
A. Lots of single women attend our events. You can be assured that we do not tolerate pushiness, threatening or anti-social behaviour of any kind. Whilst at our events your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority.
Q. Some organisers charge a higher entry fee for men than women. Is this the case at Hungry Cat?
A. Absolutely not. At Hungry Cat we believe that nobody should be discriminated against in any way because of Gender, in line with Gender Equality Laws. We charge the same ticket price for all genders, hence why we sell “PER PERSON” tickets.
Q. I’m shy. What if nobody wants to talk to me?
A. As hosts it is our responsibility to keep an eye out for those who may be a bit shy or quiet and help them by introducing them to others. You will find that everyone who attends our events are very welcoming and friendly.
Q. How do I get “Meet Verified”
A. See Below:
Swingable.me – By meeting another user from the site in real life and displaying a “Met IRL” indication on your profile.
Fabswingers – By meeting another meet verified person from the site in real life and receiving a written verification from them which must be displayed on your profile. Your meet verification must be recent.
Fetlife – By meeting in person with a someone who is affiliated with Hungry Cat and has attended our events in the past or have met in person with a trusted member who can vouch for you.
Q. What if I get approached by people that I am not attracted to?
A. It’s ok not to be attracted to someone. We all have our “types”. This being a social event, it’s worth chatting with them anyway as they might just know somebody special who will blow your mind.
